“It is a cultural event organized by the Association Terra/terra, which has been committed for several years to preserving the agri-food heritage and promoting cultural issues related to food and farm production. The market on Via Valeriano takes place monthly, featuring about 20 producers, on the third Saturday of the month.

Along with the market, we’d like to take this opportunity to get together and share a social lunch—vegan and vegetarian—also provided by terraTerra, usually served around 1:30 p.m.

Jammutopia is a recent project launched by our activist Giancarlo Federico, who aims to bring together the entire community of La città dell’Utopia, the San Paolo neighborhood, and anyone who wants to join in to play and experience music in a unique way: Every person is unique and different, just like their rhythm and the music they create! That’s why, on the second Thursday of every month, we meet at the Biostería of the Casale to play an improvised melody together, where everyone participates however they like! You can bring an instrument, use some of the ones we have or that others bring, or simply participate with your body and voice—there are no limits to creativity!

Together, we’ll create a melody as unique as each participant—without any guidance or preparation—so no experience or knowledge is necessary! All you need is lots of energy and a desire to have fun. We’ll also serve a light snack, and we have a bar!

Fundraising dinners are a time of great dedication for all the activists at La Città dell’Utopia. Through healthy, wholesome food, we foster a sense of community, choosing a different theme each time to complement our dishes and the decor of the Biosteria.

Fundraising dinners are held periodically to raise funds to support the activities of La Città dell’Utopia—sometimes specific activities (projects, exchanges, maintenance work), and sometimes general activities that allow us to keep the space open, free, and accessible to everyone.
