The assembly of activists discusses and determines the strategy, the activity programming, relationships. The assembly also discusses the use of available spaces, taking into account the activities proposed by working groups, associations, and informal groups. Finally, it is the most important place for participation in the decision-making process, where dynamics of inclusion and horizontality, conflict transformation, and the consensus method are experienced (assemblies are held in Italian).

SCI Italy has invested in the Coordinator role of the project, considering it a key figure for achieving the set objectives. The coordinator is the person who supports the development, growth, and enhancement of the forms of participation that originate at the casale and the interaction between them, and also takes care of logistical and maintenance aspects.
The coordinator role is supported by a group of international volunteers in the long term. They contribute to offering daily opportunities for meeting and exchange with the neighborhood residents, as well as on specific project activities. They are of the pillars of La Città dell'Utopia
